on second though, maybe not. While the normal admin-stuff just shows errors, gnomes printer handler manages to trigger it just fine

I find it weird that the default cups socket file only listens to the unix socket and not the very commonly used localhost:631 interface

Nobody? Oh well I tried.
I'll trade it away at a forum instead then.

Ok, so I'm new to Mastodon. I'm lonely having just one friend. How can I reach people from the global/Polish craft beer industry. How does this thing work. Any though? I'm used to FB, so I'm adding my association logo to be more visible :-)

If your the kind of person who likes then I've got a steam key to "Orwell: Ignorance is Strength" to give you, as it was already in my library, First replier interested gets it as a dm.

#TodayILearned Trunk-or-treat was a thing...

Some organizations around the United States and Canada sponsor a "trunk-or-treat" on Halloween night (or on occasion, a day immediately preceding Halloween or a few days from it on a weekend, depending on what is convenient), where trick-or-treating is done from parked car to parked car in a local parking lot, often at a school or church. This annual event began in the mid-1990s as a "Fall Festival" for an alternative to trick-or-treating, but became "trunk-or-treat" two decades later. The activity involves the open trunk of a car, displaying candy, and often games and decorations. Some parents regard trunk-or-treating as a safer alternative to trick-or-treating; while other parents see it as an easier alternative to walking the neighborhood with their children. Some have called for more city or community group-sponsored trunk-or-treats, so they can be more inclusive. These have become increasingly popular in recent years.

Phew. That was a clickfest and a half. Went though the list of passwords saved on my account and deleted every single one of them .. individually,

[lang=en] hi! compudanzas is a research project exploring alternative modes of learning and creating computation.

we attempt to transition from a logic of productivity and efficiency, and circuits that destroy life, to dances, rituals, and other types of seemingly useless computers!

we move calmly, patiently, and with curiosity :)
